I have always been a fan of the natural makeup look and even more so during the summertime. The summertime is a good time to go light on makeup (sense everyone has a little more color, even if you don’t get super dark), but heavy on the skin & anti-aging products due to more than usual time in the sun – like this eye cream and this face cream. I used to use more designer brands for anti-aging creams, but have totally switched to brands like DERMAdoctor & Bliss Spa because they are more backed by clinical trial. But back to makeup, everyone knows you should choose a darker shade of foundation in the summer (wait, you didn’t? you should!) because we all get slightly darker. This summer, I decided to switch to this AmorePacific Foundation, and am totally, totally obsessed. This foundation feels so light, but is also really hydrating AND has an SPF50… what more could you want out of a foundation for the summertime? Also during the summertime, I like to switch to a waterproof liner & a waterproof mascara so that your eye makeup won’t smudge on a really hot day or at the beach. I also love NARS Multi-Sticks because you can use this for lip & cheek on days where you are really tan and just want a barely touched up look with a little mascara.
