I have most definitely missed the "five-week-beauty-countdown-to-your-summer-holiday" that I read about yesterday....it's only 3 days until we leave & I've done very little in the way of beauty prep.I do however have - as always - a huge haul of products to take with me.I take a whole range of sun protection....but I also take a bagful of beauty items too.
Sometimes I receive or buy products during the year which I use a couple of times, mean to return to & then another product comes along.
Holidays mean I have time to play with & try out all of this lovely stuff....when I'm away I wear no make-up at all, so I can really indulge myself with skincare & enjoy the benefits of the sun on my skin.
Whilst suncare is essential, some holiday pampering when I am on holiday is both relaxing & beneficial.
I have to say that my skin & body never feel as good as when I am away....I moisturise continually, drink tons of water, get more sleep, eat better....

I should add I also use a higher spf product at the beginning of my holiday....the Med is extremely hot this time of year!
My family all tan easily but I am super-vigilant with suncream & my children have never experienced sunburn, neither have I in France.
The spf 10/20 suncare products above are what I use once I have acquired a base tan.
One thing I am also going to try this week is this fabulous DIY body scrub which sounds super easy....
