Suffering from Buyer’s Remorse?

Everybody has made bad purchases before that they regret making. Spendster.org was started as a safe haven for people to clear the air about what’s cluttering their lives and draining their wallets.

Spendster is a program developed by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE). On the site you will find video and photo uploads of people’s bad purchases, as well as a calculator that determines the actual cost of your items if you paid for them using a credit card.

What items do you tend to waste the most money on? Eating out? Tech gadgets? For me, I would say it is clothing. Apparently I am not alone. Americans spend about four percent of their income on apparel and the ratio of spending on women’s versus men’s clothing is about two to one. Please share your answer with us as a comment.
