Studying... Trying a New Pastel Set.

   Recently plunged into work and having only small time to spend in the studio. When I do, I try to keep on drawing and do some Human Figure studies, combining my greed for pastels with the care to be critical with my own drawing progress. 
I try to find acceptable online photographs to draw from (actually, they are pretty rare, as I am looking for natural light... and most of the things we find are casting strong artificial shadows and lights over the models...), then draw, paint, and try to adjust until the paper is not allowing me to go further. 
The result is not perfect... but I enjoy the exploration and again, all is pretext to play with colors.
