I have a weakness for statement necklaces combined with stripes. To me, stripes are a great base because they are not so plain as a solid, and they add dimension to any outfit. While I love pairing stripes & statement jewels, I also love stripes + animal print. When I received this necklace, I knew I had to pair it with this clutch. This BaubleBar necklace has so many great jewel tones, so I picked a navy + white stripe to compliment these colors (this A.L.C. tank is a great basic). BaubleBar has so many great necklaces right now that look uber expensive, but are so reasonably priced! I don’t know if I love these jewel tones more or the the antique-looking brass hardware…this necklace literally looks like a prized piece I would have inherited from a family member. To tie the look together from head to toe, I brought a color from the top and put it on my feet – I love cobalt heels! What do you think about mixing statement pieces with basics?
