Stila | Smudge Pot in Kitten

By Natalieroseanne @clutzyprincess
Hey guys, I have the second Stila product that I picked up last week to review for you. I know how loved the Stila shade Kitten is, and so when I saw the Smudge Pot in a Boots I knew I had to have it. photo StilaSmudgePotinKitten_zps23477b3a.jpg photo StilaSmudgePotinKitten1_zps0e870586.jpg photo StilaSmudgePotinKittenColour_zpsf553db0b.jpg photo StilaSmudgePotinKittenFingerSwatch_zps58f107ca.jpg photo StilaSmudgePotinKittenSwatch_zps3b5c8ea7.jpg The Smudge Pot is actually marketed as a waterproof gel eye liner but what what I can tell the majority of people just is a cream eye shadow, the way I have been using it.The color is amazing, I initially thought it was quite similar to my MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study however Kitten leans more towards a golden champagne whilst I think Bare Study leans to more of a silver champagne color. The Smudge Pot is not as soft as either MAC Paint Pots or Benefit Creamless Eye Shadows but it isn't all that difficult to apply. The product is quite stiff to begin with but once it has warmed to your skin it is much easier to apply, I don't find it particularly easy to apply with a brush. With that said, it doesn't budge once it is on, I actually fell asleep wearing it and it was still there once I woke up. It is beautifully pigmented, and a little really goes a long way. I don't think I will pick up any more of the Smudge Pots because I do prefer the MAC and Benefit version of cream shadows, but I do love Kitten Smudge Pot and I'm glad I picked it up solely for the color.I now really want to get hold of the duo highlighter from Stila, which houses the Kitten shade again.Natalie Roseanne <3
