“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18 NLT
I have been challenging myself lately.
I don’t know why its been so important, but I find myself being bored with myself unless have a challenge.
Maybe because it’s Spring.
Truth is, every spring challenges me to take on something new or different.
I LOVE being different. I am so glad I am who I am, and I know for a fact, I am like no one else.
I haven’t always been this way. I used to find my value in others and liked them better than myself.
I have found lately that being unique means I am intriguing. I attract people to myself .
Those who take risks like me,
think deeply like me, and dream like me. These kind of people challenge me.
I have decided that to truly thrive, I must take on new challenges and not allow myself to share some of my best thoughts with those in the world who can benefit from those thoughts.
I am truly up for a challenge this spring, because every year I find a new thing to do.
I keep springing forth.
This spring in particular is a challenge, because I joined Toastmasters, and that’s something I thought I would never do.Wish me luck, I plan to be either a really great pod-caster or a pumping out awesome videos when I am done!
And I will definitely more confident!Perhaps my greatest freedom is found in releasing something I have always feared to do well.
Perhaps in this, I will ‘spring forth’ something new and produce a new kind of happiness.
