Spiral Light Candle Product Review

Not too long ago, I was contacted via email regarding Spiral Light Candles. I went to their website to learn more and was very intrigued to learn more about how their candles are different than your usual candles. When I received a 3′ Waterfall Candle in the mail, I immediately noticed the awesome smell! I put it in the cabinet by my seat on the couch and for several days afterwards, the candle was almost like an air freshener, it was so fresh smelling!

When I looked around on Spiral Light Candles' website, I learned their spiral burning self-filling candles are a new twist on an old staple. In order to use the candle, you should first remove the label and then place the candle on a fireproof dish. Once it's on the plate, you should light the cotton wick found on the outer edge of the candle. The wick is a lead-free, self-trimming wick and it burns around the hollow center of the candle.

When the inner level of wax is equal to the outer level of wax, the spiraling wick will self extinguish. The wax pool snuffs out the flame and because the wick is carefully placed, it guarantees that it won't burn to the bottom of the candle. Once the spiral part of the spiral burning candle is finished, you can then enjoy the second part of the candle, but you do need to allow the wax to cool. Once it does cool, trim the wooden wick to about a 1/4 inch height and light it.

The horizontal spiraling wick of the candle actually self extinguishes itself when the inside wax level reaches the top of the spiral. The candle is made this way in order to to prevent any spilling, and it creates a solid pillar candle.

This candle comes in many scents, but my favorite is the Waterfall, which isfresh and clean. The fragrance reminds you of the tropical coastal breezes and the salty sea air with slight moss notes.
