Sour Cream

This recipe is to create sour cream, which I was inspired by my local pub. The first time when I create a sour cream, I just squeeze some limes and mixed with some cream but that sour cream was to sour. Then I was finally satisfy when I created this recipe and now it’s here for on healthy lunch ideas for regular users. This is not your ordinary too thick sour cream, it’s a light and thin sour cream, which will satisfy a lot of the user by this recipe on healthy lunch ideas. This type of dip is just perfect for you to try it out with either any Mexican food or any snack type recipe on healthy lunch ideas. This recipe will blow your mind if you add a bit of chilli and onion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups light cream
  • 2 Tablespoon buttermilk
Directions:
  1. Combine cream with buttermilk in hot, clean glass jar with a lid.
  2. (Canning jar that has been heating in boiling water, for instance.)
  3. Cover tightly and shake gently to thoroughly mix.
  4. Let stand in a warm place like where you put bread to rise till thickened (24-48 hours).
  5. Store, covered in refrigerator.
  6. Stir before serving.
  7. Use within three weeks.
  8. Makes two cups.
