There's a deep sense of electro about the air of this one, and it's not until you're nearing the end that it'll really hit you to be honest, because that's when, if you will, it drops and the whole electro-aesthetic comes to life. The vocal, from what we've heard on a few of his tracks, is the epitome of simple, sombre toning. He manages to really convey his thoughts and feelings into the words he's written with that wonderful little vocal that, actually, is half of the reason we can compare him to MTNS. It's a little bit higher than that of what you may expect, but blends so utterly well that there's really no room to criticize whatsoever.
The pace in this one is just right for a Winter morning. It's slow, but has that build, and really pulls out the stops in order to give you strength to go on with your daily business. Like something to resurrect to, this one is a real beauty, and something we're quite excited to have come across.
Paul.
