I finally got a pair of snow boots for Christmas this year (thanks Mom and Dad!), and thank god. It hasn't snowed this much in DC since 2010 when Snowmageddon came (which was really awful without boots, let me tell you). After another round of storms, this latest depositing almost 10 inches of wet, icky snow, they're invaluable! That said, I'm sort of getting sick of the snow. It's pretty, but it just gets all slushy at crosswalks. And people can't shovel. It's a problem, when everything melts during the day and then freezes at night!
Due to the latest storm, I got a couple snow days, so I was able to run some errands. Keeping it low-key and comfy! Only a few more days until I am off to Florida for a long weekend! Cannot wait to sit on a beach!
