This week has been really hectic. This time of year tends to be and no matter how well I prepare I almost always overwhelm myself. The problem is I always take on more than I should and I drive myself crazy. I promised myself this year that I wouldn't do that to myself but slowly and surely, my plate has become full again.
Now more than ever we need to use up all the stuff we have sitting in the back of our cabinet. I found some cranberry sauce left over from Thanksgiving and thought I would give this recipe a try. It is really simple and you dont have to stand over it stirring or anything. Sundays are supposed to be a day of rest and this slow cooker recipe practically makes itself.
So amongst all the hustle and bustle you can make this dish. Put it in the slow cooker and forget about dinner for at least tonight. I love to serve this with plain white rice.
Yeah and if you use one of those bags in your slow cooker cleanup will be a breeze.
