Skin Care Series: Favorite Cleansers
To kick off my skin care series I thought I'd start with my favorite cleansers.  Most of my skincare comes from the drugstore but I do have two high end ones that are both HG status for me.
Starting with the Lancome Creme Radiance which I can say without a doubt does make your skin radiant.  I got a sample size of this awhile ago and never really gave it a second thought when I saw it so I left it at my parents house to use when I come home from college.  I started using this at the beginning of the summer and after a few days couldn't believe how my skin looked--it had the healthiest "lit-from-within" glow!  At first I didn't realize it was the cleanser (because I never thought a cleanser could do this) and thought I was just having a really good skin day but then I read the label again and read how it has White Lotus and Rose de France in it that purify the skin and leave it absolutely radiant.  This is my absolute HG cleanser but I don't want my skin to get use to it and stop seeing results so I've been trying to save it for when my skin really needs a pick me up.
Next is Philosphy's Purity facial wash which is amazing for sensitive skin.  I love to use this on my Clarasonic and this cleanser is an absolute life saver for my sensitive skin-- it cleans and soothes my skin and is one I can always use no matter how sensitive my skin may be from weather changes or a sunburn etc.
Now I have quite a few cleansers that I love from the drugstore but to keep this short I thought I'd just list the brands and give a brief overview.

Drugstore Favorites:

  • Neutrogena Naturals Line:  I absolutely love this line, it's products are very gentle put don't disappoint in effectiveness.  My favorite is their gentle makeup removing cleanser that I like to use to take off my makeup before I wash my face.
  • Simple:  This brand has been around in the U.K. but was just released in the U.S. a few months ago.  This brand is made for sensitive skin and all their products I have tried so far I love- especially their face wipes which are great for using around sensitive eyes.
  • Biore: I've used Biore products for years namely their Steam Activated Cleanser, Pore Unclogging Scrub, and their infamous pore strips.  I love all of their products and have found that even though it's not branded for sensitive skin none of their products have ever irritated my skin.
  • Formula 10.0.6: I was hesitant to put this in my favorites post because I've only been using the brand for a few weeks but I've been using the green tea and passion fruit cleanser as my daily cleanser since I posted it in my haul.  This cleanser keeps my skin clear without drying it out but what I really love about this cleanser is that it smells incredible!  It has the most amazing fruity smell to it that I absolutely love!
