The search for the perfect watch is finally over. I have been lusting after a large dial watch for what seems like forever, but just when I think I have found the one there's always something about it that doesn't fit the bill, be it too thick, too large numbers, or simply the wrong color. I had been looking along the lines of Olivia Burton and Daniel Wellington so when I spotted this Skagen watch sitting in the jewelry counter I gasped out loud and instantly knew it was coming home with me.
Skagen is a brand that celebrates Denmark and the seaside village of Skagan, where the North and the Baltic Sea Meet. Obviously, I wouldn't need persuading as I love the simplicity of Danish design and going on a Nordic adventure is right at the top of my travel list.
I've been wearing it pretty much every time I'm not in my pyjamas, which if I am completely honest with you is not an awful lot this past week. With Easter break officially in full swing, I am embracing it with copious amount of tea and a deep delve back into my Kindle.
P.S. It is incredibly difficult to take pictures one handed so hats off to all you bloggers/Instagrammers who managed to take beautifully effortless pictures of your arm candy.
