One fine day, I got a direct message from the Sizzix Community Manager if we could coloborate and I replied - yes! I was asked to create a planner project which I'm happy to do so! After exchanging few emails, I finally got the Sizzix dies. I was given the liberty to choose too. How awesome is that?! I really love every single one of them! I was also so glad that my Sizzix Big Shot Machine is so easy to use with these dies. It cuts so well and precise too.

So without further a due, here's what I have created for my planner dashboards & pages...
I chose the Maggie Holmes collections (Open Book, Confetti & Shine) to create. Working in a collection will not only save you tons of time but it will also create a cohesive look to your project. Since the planner is gold, I incorporated some gold elements too. And I also worked mostly pastel colours so it does not overwhelmed the whole look of my planner.
I wanted to create my first dashboard with layered flower designs. And the word in Tim Holtz dies "cherish" is just perfect for this! I was pretty happy with the look, the colours worked so well together! At the left side of the planner, I embellished the pockets with lots of embellishments like paper clips, tags, decorative clips and stickers. These elements are perfect to be used in decorating your to-do-list, shopping list and so on.
I absolutely adored the banner dies in Rachael Bright's collection and decided I should create a dashboard with various banners + cute little bows. This looked so fun & lovely.
For this page, I added some enhancements i.e.: the banner die cut + the word "together" die cut & stamped so blessed to complete the look.
The tag + forever die cuts work so well in the frame. Don't you think so?
I maintained the same colours of the layered flower as the ones in the first dashboard for a cohesive look.
One of the dies in Rachael Bright collection has a tag that looks pretty much like a 'bow' and that's how I got the inspiration to use them as bows! That handwritten word "beautiful" matched so well with the bows!
For this page, I only enhanced the patterned paper by stamping the bows & die cut them out. I also stamped the phrase 'so much gratitude' lightly with a light gray ink.
The tag dies are so easy to use and to decorate. And the small alpha stamps are perfect to create your own title.
There are tons of selections of Sizzix dies you can use on your planner or your paper projects. All you need is a little imagination + fun ideas of how you can create with them.
I hope you enjoyed this planner set-up post and be inspired to decorate one for yourself today!
