The Simply Stylist event in Dallas was a great way to meet and mingle with like-minded fashionistas in town.
Before the Simply Stylist event started, we took a quick stop in the Arts District of downtown. I’ve lived in Dallas all my life and this was my first time stepping into this area of painted walls and seas of graffiti. Tragic really, as I fell in love with this makeshift sunset instantly. True to its bipolar self Texas was back in the high 80s. After taking a few shots in the heat, we were off to the W Hotel to listen to a panel of experts on all things fashion and beauty. Some of the speakers of the day were Sazan Barzani of Spaz Magazine, Lilliana Vazquez author of Cheap Chica’s Guide to Style, and Jacyln Rice on behalf of Helpouts by Google. I sat, sipped on my cranberry juice, and absorbed as much valuable information as I could about branding your blog and how to breakout in the industry. Such a blast and ready for the next fashion event in Dallas! CHANEL! (no really though, someone find a way to get me into Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Métiers D’Art show next month).
