Seldom comes an opportunity wherein you grasp a chance in spontaneity without realising it’s worth, but are left wonderstruck thereafter and thereupon. 9thNovember, Burger King, called Hungry jack’s in Australia stepped in India with it’s Indian burger, TANDOORI CHICKEN and literally swept everyone off their feet.
Located on the second floor of Select Citywalk, New Delhi; this place is for the onlookers of taste, hunger and ambience.Burger king’s pre launch is what I’ve been talking about since I’ve come back from it. Mystic Foodie Mantra gave me an opportunity to attend the pre launch of a global chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants along with a friend. Dated 8thNovember, the experience was flabbergasting and memorable. Since the first footsteps inside, till the ones that led us outside; we were glued to the ongoing event.Chirpy faces beamed across the room as Rocky and Mayur from the famous cooking show “Highway on my Plate” and Vicky Ratnani, a celebrity chef went around spreading immense happiness. Followed by a small discussion on an “ideal burger” , we broke into rounds of discussions about what goes inside a burger; buns, patties, veggies, sauces and that additional effort to maintain hygiene that makes it worthwhile for the customer. Next, was a tag team challenge where we got our hands on assembling a whopper in THE Burger King’s mighty kitchen.Getting it all together, the result of the challenge led to an outbreak at the food counter as 13 different whoppers and sides were set free from the kitchen. Client-feedback, photoshoot, signing the wall of fame were minor happenings that followed.
The absence of Beef whopper might upset a major lot, but justifies the satisfactory consideration of international multi-chains towards certain religious aspects of our country. The company that’s aiming at immense growth in India seems to drive taste buds into frenzy with absolute customer satisfaction; witnessed and verified.
A splendid eventful evening, indeed.
