Little Mr A was recently sent a really great, fun game to test out and review; Silly Moo.

From John Adams Toys, Silly Moo is described as ‘The Cow Milking Game.  She drops pints to win and pats to lose.’

Setting up the game is easy.  Put Silly Moo onto her grass base then simply place the pints and pats into the hole in the back one at a time, twisting her tail to ensure they are all muddled up.

Once ready to play the rules are simple.  Take it in turns to roll the dice then pull Silly Moo’s udders the number of times the dice says – either 1, 2 or 3.  If you get a pint you score a point – if you are unlucky enough to get a pat you lose a point.  There is also one golden pint which is worth three points.  If you roll the dice and it lands on ‘Moo’ you miss a turn.

The game is aimed at ages 3+ and is for 2-6 players.  I think the age range is about right.  The udders are easy to pull and the rules are very simple to grasp.  It is a great game to help children with their counting and turn taking skills.

Little Mr A has been having great fun playing this game, being a boy, he loves it when Silly Moo ‘pats’!

Because it is so quick and easy to set up I think this is a great addition to any games collection and, because it is so simple to play, it is suitable for the entire family.  I think it would be a really fun game to play with the whole family at Christmas!

This game gets a big thumbs up from the A’s!

You can see how much fun Little Mr A had playing this game with his Grandma in our short video, below…
