Hii, FLXX readers! This is Sideara, and now that I’ve been reintroduced, I’d like to take my first post to introduce you to another person- the amazingly talented and kind Kimi Selfridge.
I met her on a trip to New York pretty spontaneously and she ended up taking a set of photos of Amy Cakes Danky Dank for NIN3 (my clothing brand). We’ve become close friends since then because of her warm personality and her genuine spirit. Plus she’s fucking fun.
Kimi lives in Brooklyn and is constantly shooting. It’s amazing to watch her because not only does she style all of her shoots, but she brings so many different cameras and films and has such an insane process that its spectacular to see that all of her photos maintain the same Kimi specific aesthetic.
I am always so excited to see who she is collaborating with and am ecstatic that she is keeping film alive, leaving all of her film photos un-manipulated. Kimi already has a growing following and is definitely a talent to watch in the coming years, follow her on Instagram for more great shots.
