Oh Shelburne how we love you.

You can buy a lovely house here for $85,000, homemade icecream is only $2 a scoop and people would give you the shirt off of their backs here. I think the town has only 2400 people and is know for one of the most protected natural harbours in the world. The town is quiet and the main income is fishing and boat building, how quaint is that?

We took the girls across the harbor to a park and walked around for a bit. It was crawling with mosquitoes but if you stayed in the breeze you have a chance of getting out alive. Locals offered us some fish they had just caught in their canoe. Too funny, seals had broken the nets to a rainbow trout farm up the inlet and the area has been flooded with them. I think everyone in town has been out in their boats fishing the last couple of days.

Come to Shelburne, there will be no regrets.
