Sephora Haul

By Thecurlycasualista @curlycasualista
Sephora Haul Last weekend I made my first trip to Sephora in approximately 3 months, and I am proud that I only walked out with these five things (only one of which I really needed - but I also wanted my birthday gift!). And they are all keepers, ladies. Y'all should really go try 'em out! Sephora Haul  First up: Tarte's Cheek Stain. I got the shade True Love, which is a really pretty, rosy color. Yeah, it looks red in the tube, but fear not. This stuff is sheer. Even if you accidentally smear on a lot (speaking from experience - I recommend using your fingers to apply and not going straight from the tube), it's easily blended out. It gives you a lovely, natural flush that lasts. Which is key as the weather has turned the dial to sauna! The product comes in a range of colors, but this is the only one I tried. It also has anti-aging properties. #winning Sephora Haul  Of course I couldn't leave without lip products (I may have mentioned that I am an addict at least once before?). I've been wanting to try the Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gels for ages, as I've never encountered a gel lipstick before! I'm not quite sure what makes these a gel, but the texture is definitely unlike anything I've tried before. It's weird. But not a bad weird. Just weird. The color payoff, however, is excellent. Great coverage, great staying power. It's not terribly moisturizing, but nothing a little Reve de Miel can't handle. Neo-Noir is a gorgeous berry-red shade that works wonderfully for summer and will translate really well to winter also! And, I had to grab Fresh's newest Sugar Lip Treatment shade, Tulip, especially since I seem to have misplaced my tube of Honey (tear). It's a punchy pink that's still really sheer. Perfect for days when you're not really wearing makeup but need a little pick-me-up. And with the same lovely lemon scent and creamy moisture, it's gone straight into my purse for daily use! Sephora Haul Ah, the one item I really needed: concealer. Now that my face has a little color, the concealer I was using (this and sometimes this too) was just a little too light. Nothing like the reverse racoon effect! I've been meaning to grab the NARS Radiane Creamy Concealer for a while, and I am so glad I did (I got the shade Honey). This stuff is the shiz. I don't know why I stray away from NARS products. They're all so perfect! And to combat some under-eye dryness I've been fighting (don't ask me how, with all this humidity...), I grabbed a pot of Clinique's All About Eye's Rich. A tried-and-true favorite that does the job so well, I don't know why I try anything else!
