In favor of Fringe Science.
Good science is always open-minded, and the history of science is one of surprises and overturnings. Science is nothing but careful thinking, and careful thinking encouraging an appreciation of the complexity of the world. The complexity encourages us to maintain several possibilities at once.
In a single lifetime, we may have no way to remove the ambiguities from these possibilities. Let’s get real here for a second. The best science has always been “fringe science.” This modern science that rejects everything except what the President, New York Times, CIA or Wikipedia said as “conspiracy theory” is just wrong.
That’s what the James Randi crowd is like. Randians are “professional skeptics” who believe that the CIA’s phony rewritten history of the modern world. They refuse to believe in many things that seem quite obviously true, even if not proven yet. Some of these things can be proven and no doubt will be soon but others probably can never be proven but seem to exist (UFO’s, ghosts, ESP).
By taking such an ultra hardline science view of reality, they reduce all of the glorious wonders of life to test-tubes, microscopes, atoms, molecules, protons and neutrons. That’s all very interesting, but honestly it doesn’t make me want to keep on living. When I look up at Lower Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park, I don’t see molecules and atoms crashing all over the sky fringed with hard gray subatomic particles in crystallized formations and more flexible brown and green cellulose entities. If that was all there was, I would kill myself today.
The new science is simply religion. That’s all it is. There is one accepted view and that’s whatever the scientists say, but the scientists are wrong a lot. They’re wrong now sometime, and they have been wrong many times in the past. They will be proven wrong again and again in the future. The Randi crowd, and 99% of science agrees with them, has walled off massive aspects of our existence and decided that certain theories simply are too ridiculous to even be explored. It’s idiotic to even study it! This is the mindset of the fundamentalist.
What does Fringe Science say? Fringe Scientists simply say that accepted science is dead wrong on some particular question. They take up theories that the rest of scientists say are not only wrong but should never even be investigated! My, the audacity of that statement!
A new science will have to acknowledge that conspiracy theory may well be correct. There are 16 major intelligence agencies in the US and many more across the globe. By definition, every person in every one of these agencies is plotting and conspiring all the time. There is nothing too dirty for an intelligence agency or any other devious plotter. False flags are well known throughout history. To say “conspiracy theory is never true” is to say that intelligence agencies and their fellow travelers never conspire and hatch various plots. That’s crazy.
A new science will have to recognize that the Western media is the last place one should go to for the last word on just about anything. Controlled propaganda systems have existed in the past and exist in the present. The present Western media is a controlled propaganda system run by the various Western Deep States that prints lies and distortions on a daily basis. Nothing the Western media says about anything should ever be taken as the last word on anything. It’s like quoting Pravda in 1970. Actually Pravda was more honest.
Skeptics like the James Randi idiots have decided that the truth about things like the JFK Assassination can be found in the commissions set up by politicians! LOL! What’s next? With the skeptards start quoting the CIA as the last word on this or that political mystery? Why should science minded people accept the opinion of any commission set up by politicians about anything at all?
The Randian crowd calls themselves skeptics. The word of God, the holy grail, the real and pure truth, according to them, relies in the Warren Commission, the CIA, the US government, the State Department, the Pentagon, the FBI, Wikipedia, the New York Times and the rest of the MSM. Any real skeptic would be profoundly skeptical about anything emanating from the mouths of any of these pathological lying organizations.
The new science is nothing but Skepticism. The new Skepticism is nothing but a fundamentalist religion, as irrational as any of the others.
