State bank of India (SBI) is one of the biggest banks in India. It is the largest public sector banking which is spread in different countries around the world. Here in this post, we will let you know on the SBI debit card types and its uses.

Every bank offers debit cards to its customers to withdraw or deposit the money more easily. You can withdraw the money at your bank or at your nearest ATM centres. But there are different debit cards offered in the banks that many of us don’t know how to use a debit card type and its purpose.

1. State bank Classic debit card

The state bank classic debit card is widely used in India and it is accepted in all the major outlets that accept payments. And it is used for shopping for over 5 lakh merchant outlets in India. SBI classic debit card is also used to book movie tickets and make the bill payments and online purchases with secured payouts. And the classic debit card is used to withdraw money from SBI and other ATM’s all over India

2. State bank Rupay debit card

It is the domestic card launched by national payments corporation of India. Rupay debit cards are widely used as they offer low transaction fee when compared to other debit cards. It is secured and had a great reach.

3. State bank Silver international debit card

SBI silver international debit card is used internationally around the globe. With this international debit card, you can shop and purchase over 30 million outlets worldwide. You can use this card to withdraw money and transfer the money easily.

4. State bank Global international card

SBI global debit card is fully equipped with the latest security and usage. You can use this global card to make and receive the payments worldwide. Reward points are provided based on the purchases you make. It is used globally and accepted globally.

5. State bank Gold international debit card

The SBI gold international debit card comes with a limit of Rs. 2 lakhs. And it comes with an complimentary insurance of over 2 lakhs. You can double the SBI Rewardz points by making at least 3 purchase transactions.

6. State bank platinum international debit card

With SBI platinum debit card you can make bill payments, online transactions, booking movie tickets easily. It comes with the complimentary insurance cover of over 5 lakhs. It comes with the purchase protection for theft for over Rs. 50,000 for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.

7. State Bank Mumbai Metro Combo Card

The SBI Mumbai metro combo card is used to travel in the metro trains conveniently without waiting in the ques. This card acts as boi the metro card and as well as the ATM debit card to shop and use. You can withdraw cash with this cash and transfer the money easily. And also make online payments with this card.

8. State Bank Foreign Travel Card

SBI foreign travel card is the travel card used for the traveling. It is use3ed for shopping, traveling and making the transactions and foreign currency exchange needs.

9. State Bank Gift Card

State bak gift card was used to purchase the gifts with the best wishes. You can use this gift card to purchase image based gift cards like birthday gift card, Christmas gift card, new year gift card purchases and all image-based gift cards. Minimum amount to spend is Rs. 500 and the maximum is Rs. 10,000

10. State Bank eZ-Pay Card

The eZ-Pay card is the prepaid card used to make periodic payments like salary, commisions, benefits and more. It is issued in Indian rupees in association with VISA international. It is used at all the state bak ATM’s through PIN at merchant establishments.

11. State Bank Smart Payout Card

State bank smart payout card is as same as the eZ-Pay card which is used to make the periodic payments and it is a prepaid card.

12. State Bank Virtual Card

The card is accepted at any merchant outlet that has a facility for online purchase. The card is valid as soon as the transaction is completed or the card is cancelled or not used for 48 hours after creation. Transactions are authorised only after successful validation of the one-time password (OTP) send to the mobile during the process.

13. State Bank Pride Card

SBI Pride debit card comes with complementary insurance of 2 lakhs with Rs. 5000 purchase protection for theft and is valid upto 90 days from the date of purchase. And it comes with the accident insurance of Rs. 50,000

14. State Bank Premium Card

State bank premium cards daily cash limit varies from country to country and the domestic cash limit is 2 lakhs. It comes with a complimentary Insurance of over 5 lakhs and the Rs. 50,000 purchase protection for the theft and is valid upto 90 days from the date of purchase.

15. State Bank Pehla Kadam And Pehli Udaan Photo Debit Cards (Only for minors)

It is the savings account for minors to learn the importance of saving money and the power of using it. Pehla Kadam eligibility is that a minor of any age can open the account jointly with the parent/guardian. And the Pehli Udaan eligibility is that a minor above the age of 10 years who can sign uniformly and the account can be opened in the sole name of the minor.

16. sbiINTOUCH Tap & Go Debit Card The Contactless Card

It is the multipurpose international debit card with contactless technology. With this card, the customer can make the electronic payment by just waving the card at the nearest PoS terminal. It comes with the NFC antenna and is secured with EMV contactless standard.
