The big aspect of 2021 is Saturn square Uranus, first occurring on 17th Feb 2021 at 7.14 degrees Aqu/Tau. It reoccurs on 14th June a 13.07 degrees Aqu/Tau and finally on Christmas Eve - 24th December 2021 at 11.05 deg Aqu/Tau.
What do I expect from this through the year? Well this is a fixed square, therefore this will be hard to swallow change that will test us to the full, however if we can accept that new conditions and ways of doing things are the way to go, then we may make some radical and significant progress. The feeling I have is that 2021 is going to be a year of adjustment, as new realities make themselves fully known. We are still in a spin after 2020, and trying to get our heads around the shock of our lives being turned upside down by a virus that virtually nobody saw in advance.
This coming year will be one of further change, of accepting new conditions, of developing new solutions to old problems - in effect marrying the old with the new. The notion of community and accepting anyone and everyone no matter their background, colour, creed or ethnicity will continue apace - you only need to see the month of February where no less than 6 planets will converge in Aquarius to understand that pulling together as one unit, of networking with others and using technology to its fullest extent in following radical new attitudes will be the way to go.
We will still have a summer of retrogrades and late Spring eclipses to get through, and a period of time when we may be treading water, just as in 2020, but in no way will it be as severe, as we will not have retrograde Mars and Venus to deal with until the very end of 2021 and into 2022. Mars moving forward all year will allow some progress to happen during the summer when the major planets all regress in unison, even if the big changes we want and need may be halted in the heat of the summer months. In my view, 2021 looks like a much lighter version of what we have been through with restrictions starting to be rescinded over time, as technological breakthroughs bring forward a new normality. In regards to that, October 2021 looks a pivotal month, as no less than 4 planets, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury all station direct in a 12 day period of sudden turnaround.
So lets take the challenges to come in 2021 with verve and enthusiasm. We have become good and adapting as humans, as the shifting sands of 2020 kept us constantly on edge. Indeed the shocks that we endured in 2020 will serve us well to use Saturn square Uranus to its fullest extent. If we can achieve that, then 2021 may be a year where humanity hits the reset button successfully, and starts out on a new decade of renewed progress.
