For everyone with Sagittarius rising, this is a more personal time of the year as the Sun is joined early on in the month by Mercury in your Ascendant sign, the first house on your chart. This is the part of the horoscope that is focused on the self, your physical body and your basic character and in general terms you will have much more energy, feel alive and mentally alert through most of this month. Having a Sagittarian ascendant, you are rather boisterous and when you speak often you will not be aware that you are hurting other people’s feelings. There is a possibility that you may be a bit more selfish than normal, however in trying to prove your worth to as many people as possible, you may find that this independent influence hampers your efforts to work with other people. If this is proving quite problematic, you may find it more to your advantage if for now on projects and things you want to do, you go it alone. This can also be a time when your personal relationships are put under some strain, as you may fail to see or accept your partner's points of view. Any confusion or misinterpretation may occur on 3rd December as Mercury makes a difficult square aspect to Neptune. This day also sees the new Moon in your Ascendant sign, a time to do your own thing and to start any personal projects that you have had a desire to get on with. The full Moon on the 17th happens in the sign of Gemini, the part of your chart which rules permanent relationships. All kinds of relationships will be tested to the full, personal and intimate, professional and business ones and even with people who openly oppose you. You will have to take into account the views of other people and hopefully this will lead you to understanding the positions of others far better.
There are two planets that change direction during this month, namely Venus and Uranus. Venus turns tail on the 17th December as it stations ad then begins to move in retrograde motion for the next 6 weeks. Venus is in one of it’s home signs, the second the house of money and possessions and this will be the main focus that she shines her gaze on. Be very careful what you spend your money on now as your sense of value will be very affected. You may spend way over the odds or get a bad deal and if your financial dealings are more business related you will have to be careful not to incur losses as your income could dry up. Uranus slows down to station on the 21st December before starting to move forwards again. It is residing in your house of love, children, creativity and risk taking and finally you will freed up to show your true individual self. This could be through artistic inspiration or a love of science and technology or through meeting clever or intuitive people in social settings, through a sudden love affair (don’t expect this to last with Venus retrograde) or through having fun with children at Christmas and the New Year.
Mars moves into Libra and into your 11th house of friends, groups, hopes and dreams and in December you will be called upon to cooperate in a lot of joint activities, indeed it may be in your best interests to seek out groups and friends who can help you to achieve your aims and desires. Mars as an individual sign is never truly happy working with others unless it can take some kind of lead but hopefully with it being in the sign of relating Libra you will willingly help out so long as things are done on an even and fair basis. Being with and socializing with friends will be much enjoyed in this month and through until the summertime as Mars will be remaining in this sign for over 6 months. As such you are really lucky, and this will be a great time to make some long term associations.
