Sagittarius Rising – December 2012
This month, the Sun is traveling through your 1st house, which should see you more assertive than has been the case in November, which saw you in a more insular and reflective mood. You will want to assert you own individuality, ideas and opinions on other people a bit more, however you should be careful not to be too selfish or overbearing in doing this. The Sun makes an opposition to Jupiter across your 1st and 7th house axis and you can run the risk of upsetting those you love or work with now because of your more self-righteous nature. Try to remember some moderation now to keep things in balance.
Mercury begins the month in your 12th house of service and seclusion before is moving through your first house. Initially as we enter December, you will be in a rather reflective mood, however on the 11th as Mercury enters Sagittarius, it forms a square to Neptune as it does. Be careful to double-check any paperwork you are working on and any messages that you receive, as they could be misleading. As Mercury enters you first house you will become more aware and objective allowing you to focus on yourself, and encouraging you to express you own personal views to everyone around you. Your mind will tend to switch from one thing to the next, so concentrating on any one task may be quite problematic; try and organize things so that you can address each issue strictly in turn. On the 14th Mercury trines to Uranus, so mentally you will be very quick off the mark. This is a great aspect for problem solving, intellectual challenges and any task that needs dexterity or fast reactions. You may also be in a mood for playing practical jokes and having a bit of fun at the expense of others.
Venus also begins the month in your 12th house so in a social sense you will be hiding away a little and not going out and enjoying yourself as you normally would. This is a time when you will be drawn to help others; your husband, wife or your partner may need you to make some sacrifices on their behalf, and you will be in a selfless mood to accede to their wishes. Venus squares to Neptune on 14th, an aspect that could make you bemused with a neighbour’s actions, or your brothers & sisters may hold back information from you. You could be seduced by all kinds of weird or crazy ideas now. Venus and Uranus make a trine on the 19th. Trines between these two planets can bring unexpected romance to blossom, so if you are single keep your eyes open!!
Mars is moving through your second house during December, which will make you rather impulsive and possibly touchy if questioned by others. You may be in a mood to part with your hard earned cash, and you may end up spending on impulse rather than spending wisely. Determined to get things done and completed at this time, your energy levels should be high and you could achieve a lot of your aims if you put your mind to them.
The Full Moon in Cancer on the 28th is in your 8th house of shared finances, other people’s possessions and change. This full Moon is opposite to Pluto and square to Uranus, so you could be embroiled in a bit of a battle over finances, both personal and shared. Relations with your partner, lover or with children may be intensified or even shaken to the core as they rebel against your wishes. Try to keep your cool over these couple of days until this intense full Moon passes.
