Running On the Wall Virtual Race: She Believed She Could So She Did 10K

By Debi Lantzer @debiL1611

Have any of you signed up for a virtual race before? I’ve signed up for a few in the past that basically emailed me a bib and then later mailed me a medal. I recently learned about virtual races being hosted by a company called Running on the Wall who offers several different virtual running events and you get some great SWAG for participating!

I recently signed up for Running on the Wall’s “She Believed She Could So She Did 10k”.  I received an awesome workout tank top, a really nice sticker for my car, a cool bib and of course, an awesome medal.  I was very impressed with the quality of the stuff too. The tank top is one I’ll definitely be wearing during workouts – especially now that I have a really cool upper arm tattoo!

It’s nice that you can do your event at your own convenience.  Running a 10K “virtually” means you can run anytime, anywhere – in my time and my place.  That’s definitely the beauty of a virtual race. Having signed up for a race definitely keeps my motivation going.  I can run in a park, with friends, it just doesn’t matter. Also, no rule says you have to run either – I’m injured right now, so I can only walk the event right now. When I sign up for another virtual race with Running on the Wall, I’ll be able to jog, run, skip or walk even – whichever way I need to do it just go get the job done! If you live in one of those areas where it snows, you can also do it on a treadmill indoors where it’s warm!

Once I complete my 10K, I can add the information to Running on the Wall’s Facebook page to share my “race recap” with everyone else participating.  You can post your time if you choose to, but that is optional. Running on the Wall has monthly events so you can stay motivated all throughout the year.

All you need to do is register here online by purchasing this package and you can be proud of yourself. Be sure to check out Running on the Wall’s Facebook page too!

I received a complimentary registration and race packet as part of Running the Wall’s Ambassador program in exchange for this post.
