Directors Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton had huge success with Little Miss Sunshine, a film showcasing family in a journey to a beauty pageant. Obviously its been a few years since that project, but now they have finally gotten a new project off the ground. According to Collider, The film, He Loves Me, stars Paul Dano as “a once-great novelist who is creativity blocked due to heartache and loneliness, only to be turned around when he writes his dream girl (Zoe Kazan) who then comes to life.” The movie co-stars Annette Bening, Antonio Banderas, Steve Coogan, Elliott Gould, Chris Messina, and Deborah Ann Woll.
There’s been a name chance now and it will be called Ruby Sparks. Fox Searchlight will distribute the film and it will see limited release on July 25th.
