Royal Blood Band Profile \\ Mad Sounds

Royal Blood

The White Stripes’ dark alter-ego Royal Blood were named on the BBC’s ‘Sounds of 2014’ Long-list, since then their career has started to take off.

Mike Kerr (Bass and Vocals) spits and bares his teeth, growling harder than Jack White or Josh Homme ever could. Royal Blood ripped up the rule book; they tore Rock music a new one. The most exciting thing to happen to rock since Them Crooked Vultures.

With songs such as ‘Little Monster’, ‘Come On Over’ and ‘Out of the Black’ they make the heaviest Metal-Core bands look like primary school tantrums. Ben Thatcher (Drums) should give a seminar to A Day to Remember showing the true meaning of badass.

Royal Blood stomp harder than Goliath’s sandals -or as I like to call them J.C.B’s Jesus.Christ.Boots- and kick it harder than a Muay Thai Boxer. Their career is going to fly like a V2 rocket.

Royal Blood

Born from the same impulses as Drenge and Death From Above 1979, Royal Blood create a hell of a racket. With one voice, one guitar and one bass they make more noise than most, and they make sure to direct it straight at you. Where others have focused on the sound of synth, the Brighton due believe only in the raucousness of rock. Catch them soon in a sweaty club, if you dare.
