Each month, Rosemary's Italian restaurant offers a true farm-to-table experience. Located in the heart of Greenwich village, Rosemary's boasts a one-of-a-kind rooftop garden as well as some land upstate in the Hudson Valley.
As a fundraiser for Rosemary's Farm, guests are invited to dine on four courses of local, seasonal fare and chat with the restaurant management as well as their farmer. With limited seats available at their beautifully set community table, it is a truly unique culinary experience that brings the community together to eat, drink, and be merry.
Each Farm Dinner features a menu that's unique to whatever is in season during that month, as well as several glasses of wine that are expertly paired with each dish.
A true Italian trattoria, Rosemary's is known for it's homemade pasta. The fresh, simple ingredients make it very light and enjoyable. As I noted to my friend, "I want to eat a big bowl of pasta, but not feel like I've eaten a big bowl of pasta."
As the evening came to an unfortunately close, guests departed the restaurant with new friendships, a full belly, and a goodie bag full of freshly made Mozzarella.
At $95 per person, Rosemary's Farm Dinner is a fundraiser that's worth every penny and goes to a great cause. As an extension of Rosemary's Manhattan rooftop garden, Rosemary's Farm is part of a commitment to supply fresh, local, and seasonal produce to our community.
In addition to dining on farm-fresh ingredients at Rosemary's restaurant, customers are invited to join their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, which delivers weekly boxes of fresh, seasonal produce as well as homemade pastas, mozzarella, and sauces straight from the farm. Those interested in signing up can do so at Rosemarysfarm.csasignup.com or by calling (212) 647-1818.
