Now do I believe that Rose is the best NBA player? No.
I don’t believe that he even believes that he is the best. I think that Rose said that he was the best NBA player was just for humor. Basically, something to keep the conversation interesting.
Although I do believe that Rose is not the best, there can still be a case made stating that he is actually the best.
Think about it. He has won the NBA MVP Award over the eventual four-time MVP LeBron James. Also, he has carried his Bulls team until he took a bad blow in the 2012 Playoffs.
As Rose makes his recovery and his return to basketball, he has the following season to prove that he is the best NBA player. That is…if he meant what he said.
