rewardStyle Weekend Recap

This morning I am just getting back to Savannah (unfortunately missed my flight last night) after a long and productive weekend in Dallas for rewardStyle‘s “the conference”, which was held downtown at The Joule hotel. This was my second rewardStyle conference – see details from last year’s recap here. This year, I enjoyed seeing old blogger friends and making new ones, meeting with brands, listening to insightful seminars, and having lots and lots of margaritas and queso. On Friday, Ellen + I walked around the brand booths and then later had cocktails by the pool with Jessica of My Style Vita and Lauren of Sunday Beach (so nice to meet them both!). Later that night, kate spade ny hosted a party across the street from The Joule in the lawn that boasts the giant “Eye”. This was a super fun event.
On Friday night, a big group of us went to R+D Kitchen in Highland Park, one of my long time Dallas favorites. Saturday was filled with speakers and seminars – and a fun lunch hosted on the rooftop terrace by Express. On Sunday, we all went to Southfork Ranch for brunch. This was a very unique Dallas experience filled with a tour of the ranch house, hay rides, corn hole, and bloody marys. Throughout the conference, I loved seeing old faces from last year including Allyson, Brighton, Chassity, Liz, Hallie, and Gaby, but I also was so excited to meet new ones: Blair, Grace, Caroline, Gia, Christine, and Shai, to name a few.  I felt like I had talked to a few of these girls over social media for quite some time – and it is so nice to finally be able to connect a face and conversation along with those over-the-web interactions. Having so many talented and creative people in one place was so cool and was exactly what I was needing to get re-inspired. So, I am starting off the week uber inspired, hope you are too! xx
