Revlon Corstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Designer Review,Swatches LOTD & Bloopers

Not so long ago, I won a contest on New Love Makeup Blog and I chose this one. Apart from all the other shades, this one was brighter and also the most wearable. Designer is a bright burnt orange shade, falls more towards red/coral. It has minute shimmer which adds to the glow and gives a shiny glossy finish.
Package: Well.. It is just the posh package for a lipstick! Totally classy and droolworthy. My Experience with the Lipstick: To start off, I am not really fond of lipsticks that has visible shimmer. This one does have shimmer. I get the fact that it is very minute and tiny yet, I get the feel of not so smooth texture. The lipstick truly has a bit gritty texture and you get the most of it while applying it directly from the bullet. I am not that ultra perfectionist to use a lip brush to apply a lipstick,so everytime I use it, I have mixed feelings,. Anyway coming back to the actual review, I adore the shade. I totally loved it. I mean, it is one of the very unique coral orangey shades that I came across and it just brightens up my face. It stays on for 5hours and yesh it survives small meal. The shimmer is very minute and hence they are not even visible. It fades away leaving a tint behind which I again love. The package is classy. It is sturdy and can be carried around well. It is moisturizing. But you may have to exfoliate the lips before using this. It is a semi matte and it may show up the dry lines/patches.
It is basically a sheer finish. It is not greatly pigmented for a single swipe. Girls with pigmented lips like me, have to swipe it multiple times to achieve the even coverage.

It is just swiped just once. It is a coral at the first glance. You can see the shimmer in the with flash picture.

I should have used a lip pencil to outline my lips :( I have a big lower lip and a thin upper lip :(

My Recommendation:
This is one great shade for summer and it brightens up any skintone and the shimmers are barely visible. They only add that healthy glow to the lips. So, you can directly grab one.
