Review:
Oh wow. This can’t possibly end well for Tessa. I am so conflicted by the way the events of Clockwork Prince unfolded. It is as if it is my heart in two! I never thought I’d care much for the characters of this part of the Shadowhunter world as I do for the modern characters in The Mortal Instruments, but they’ve wormed their way into my heart.
I’m left with so many questions unanswered and so much that went so wrong! I am eager to find out what happens next with these characters and finally understand what Tessa is and how she factors in to the whole mess. I love that, while miniature parts of the plot have been resolved, the bigger plot is still at work in this series and each novel reveals a bit more.
As a big fan of The Mortal Instruments, I definitely recommend The Infernal Devices. I think it would be a good series for people who don’t know how they feel about YA because it’s a bit more traditional due to the historical time period. I love it so far and I’m eager to see what happens next. I understand why so many people were anxiously waiting for Clockwork Princess to come out!
