Bourjois Colorband 2 in 1 Eyeshadow & Liner
Rose Fauviste & Brun Dadaiste.
This last week or so has seen some amazing high street makeup launches, I still have a long list of items I want to pick up.Bourjois seem to have some great products for us to try for spring 2015 which include the Colorband 2in1 Eyeshadow & Liners. (Also some fab lip products that I reviewed here)
These are a twist up pencil type product that can be used as a liner or all over the lid as an eyeshadow. They are highly pigmented and apply effortlessly without tugging the skin.
They claim to last 24 hours (who wears eyeshadow for 24 hours?) and when first swatched on my hand I could see these living up to the claim. Once set they didn't budge and took quite a lot of rubbing with a wet wipe to remove them.
From this first impression I decided to pick up two of the shades to give a try and see how they lasted on my oily eyelids.
Well I can tell you that unfortunately the Colorband Eyeshadows didn't do so well when applied and blended out. They only lasted a few hours before they started to crease on me which I was so disappointed about.
I think those of you who don't have problems with shadows creasing you are going to love these. You have to work quick with them to blend them out as like I said when I tested them on my hand they don't move once set, only when you have super oily lids it seems.
I am going to keep having a play around with these, they seem to work well if I just apply them to the lash line, so I think on me they are better used as a liner.
The Colorband 2in1 Eyeshadow & Liners are available in Boots and Superdrug for £5.99.
Let me know if you have tried these and had better luck then me?
