My Hair Story ::
- Dry and Wavy (medium - coarse)
- Fine and slightly frizzy
- Little resistant to styling (often curls back after bit of straightening)
- Often Limp and looks dull the second day
- Less shiny with very little bounce
Trial Testing :: 1
Pre-shampoo Oiling ::As usual like a religious routine, i did oil my hair 30 mins prior to shampooing and hit the shower (I use water at normal temperature though its summer). And finished off my hair wash with a tiny amount of conditioner on the ends. Rinsed well and let the hair dry normally (didn't use blow dryer). I just used a small pump of hair serum though to get those tangles off while the hair was slightly wet.
*First day of hair wash*
*End of the second day*
Result :: Hair got a full bounce and felt doubly soft than usual. The hair looked shiny and thicker than usual (perception of thickness due to full bounce i assume)
Trial Testing :: 2
No Oiling ::I wanted to test it without using oil to see if the product can actually tame my hair. Though fine, my hair gets frizzy easily and gets resistant to styling often.(When i shampoo directly without oiling, i prefer to use conditioner first on wet hair; leave it on for sometime and shampoo as usual)Used Conditioner first and then shampooed later, letting it dry naturally (no blow dryer used). A small pump of hair serum was used when hair was slightly wet.
*Second hair wash, heading for the party with unstyled hair*
*Past midnight pic, been partying all evening out in the open*
*Second day afternoon*
Result ::Hair had the bounce again, felt extremely soft (like it was never frizzy before) and again looked thicker than usual (perception due to bounce again i believe)
Trial Testing :: 3
No Conditioner and No Serum ::As a last test, i wanted to see if shampoo alone can make hair look any better. Claiming shine, bounce and thickness; wanted to test it hard on shampoo alone.So shampooed hair (no oil and no conditioner situation) and let it dry naturally (no blow dryer). **NO SERUM was used in this trial**
*Third hair wash*
Result :: Though conditioner and serum did add that extra shine to my dull, lifeless hair; using shampoo alone definitely didn't leave it dry either. It had that fine shine still, had the bounce as usual and surprisingly looked thicker (i strongly believe perception is the case... or is it!! *confused* o-O)
That said, like you can see in the pics; my hair gets wavy no matter what (unless i use straightening products and straighten it to perfection) and using this combo; my hair definitely took on to being wavy still but took to larger waves and looked bouncy and shiny like any healthy hair would look like. From Trial 1 to Trial 3, hair feels so much better; and with every wash my hair definitely carries that bounce every time. And like before i don't see my hair dull and limp the next day. Do i need more reasons not to Love this??
Pros ::
- Paraben Free
- Pleasant Fragrance
- Budget Friendly
- Makes the hair soft, shiny, bouncy and look thicker than usual
- None
If not 5Xtimes thicker, my hair definitely looked thicker and bouncier than before. Leaving it shiny and not making it limp the next day was definitely a plus point here.
And i strongly believe no product is a magical potion and doesn't weave its magic in one single go. Besides, just like any product works differently and at different pace on different people, i think shampoos and conditioners are no different. Results are definitely seen (though varied) using this shampoo and conditioner combo but like i made my observations clear before, they also depend on how much care is taken before and after using this product and ofcourse like the Co-Creator mentioned; a right diet can greatly influence how the hair looks too!!
That said, i strongly recommend this product to anyone with my kinda hair type. I can see myself using this often now. *-*
** Pls note :: no styling product or equipment was used during the whole week of trial (products, stylers and blow dryers are believed to aid in volume and bounce) !! **
* PR Sample but my opinions are my own and have not been influenced in anyway*And i never recommend a product which i myself never love to use*
