I am sure by now you know the goodness and benefits of Grapeseed oil after reading above mentioned details and posts. So it doesn't leave me much to talk about. But I'd talk anyway!
This oil is a pale colored, thicker than regular oil and thinner than castor oil. It has a different kind of smell that I can not relate with anything but disappears after application. A little greasy in the beginning but your skin would drink it within a minute.
During summer: I started using this oil in June when it was still scorching hot in New Delhi. Before using this oil, my face had all the issues I could think of on this earth and mentioned in one of the posts (link is given above). I noticed a difference in texture of my skin from first day onwards. It felt like my pores shrunk, the texture of skin improved from being rough and coarse to glowing and hydrated. I also saw a significant difference in pores on my nose. They didn't disappear but they shrunk to being big pores to smaller ones.
In Monsoon when weather is humid and sometimes hot: I felt that it made my skin greasy and it didn't work as nicely as it did during summer. The reason could be that humid environment makes my skin a lot greasy and it loses its glow. I have to find that perfect product moisturizer/oil/serum which works during monsoon. So I did not use during first two weeks of July.
However, I have started using this again and I can't be happier. I see my skin glowing after-sleep-face in the morning (my morning starts at 2PM afternoon).
Some problems that I am still concerned about and this oil hasn't been able to cure them - that my aging skin gets this small pimple like bumps on my skin which disappear on its own. I want something that doesn't let them appear. But I am also sure that it happens because I change my skincare products often to try new things. Like now a days I am using Lakme Youth Infinity Serum during day time and will probably start using during night too. I am not in mood of blaming this oil for now!
If you ask me whether I'd ever repurchase this oil then my answer would be a big YES! Because I know that this thing works. This thing has improved my skin from being bad to good. The skin needs more pampering and more improvement but I am happy with it for now.
If I'd recommend to others? I would! I'd want you all try this oil once if you have uneven, dull skin tone, pores and blemishes. This is not an expensive product that you'd regret buying. If you think it didn't suit your face, use it on hands and body.You can use it alone or with your favorite moisturizer or oil. What else we want?
