Nivea Total Face Cleanup
When I posted the my new skincare essentials haul post, I got to know from comment how many of us are excited about this product. There may be some other who did not post a comment but may have been wanting to hear about this product. I was equally excited about this product and for any product that does multiple jobs. I mean it - ANY PRODUCT sans some whitening products.Nivea Total Face Cleanup - is a cream based face-wash, scrub, face-mask and removes spot/blemish - all five in one. It is made of tooth paste-like cream which dries all white. When I squirted it out, the first thing came to my mind was my favorite tooth-paste Pepsodent. lol. The white cream is the base for those mild-but-not-so-mild blue beads/particles. When you take it out first, it is a scrub - thick one. But it turns into face wash as you add water to it.
It is a fragrant product with very distinctive smell but it may come across strong for some who are not into fragrant products. I myself found it a little strong but I can work with it without any issues because it smells really nice and fresh.
I use it daily a face wash and every alternate days as scrub. I have chosen Thursday as my weekly face mask day for this. Above, I said mild-but-not-so-mild because Total Face Cleanup is a thorough exfoliant which is mild enough so your face is not scratched and granular enough so it can exfoliate the dead skin on face, hand, feet etc really well. Despite of having sensitive skin, I tried it as a face wash, scrub and a face mask and I am content with this product. It did not leave my skin red that I usually get after brushing my face with a soft brush by The Body Shop. It has replaced that brush. If you are not gentle with this product then it can become harsh and leave your skin red. Also, it might be harsh for those who have active acne. However, the after affect on my face is squeaky clean, glow and taut skin. It does a feel a little stretchy after the wash but considering the winter season and dry skin I'd say it won't even exist during summers.
I think this is going to be staple in my skincare routine. And it has qualities to replace face wash, scrub and a couple of masks in some households for sure plus it is good for male skin too. A 100 ml tube is going to last you for good 2 months even if applied every day. In short, I love this product and I can see a great future. Last but not the least, Nivea is becoming one of my favorite drugstore brands like Maybelline is my favorite in makeup and lip products. Not to mention, Nivea has some really good deodorants, moisturizers, body lotions and now this - Total Face Cleanup.
Price : Rs.199 for 100ml and Rs.99 for 50ml
Availability - Nivea Total Face Cleanup is available in a few local stores and I see that it is not available online yet. May be, by the time this post goes live it gets available online too. I will let you know as soon as I know they are available. I bought it from a local store in my area.
