Where to buy and how much? | LINKI bought this foundation like two winters ago for $7-8 dollars from Target. I had returned another foundation which was terrible, I don't remember what it was. This item can be found in any drugstore. What is the texture? It is definitely a mousse, but not whipped. I though it was going to be creamier like the picture depicted on the Maybelline website. They probably changed the formula.
Not a liquid, but a solid...WOW! It has a pretty dry feeling when I mix it with my fingers. Also, pretty thick and absolutely not runny at all.
Finish? When applied matte, after a bit still matte. Very matte, a little too matte in this case. It gives off a cakey finish and it not a like. Pores? For the pores next to my nose and nicely concealed, and so are the pores on my nose. Though I see my nose gets clogged easier with any foundation I use, but that is just me. So basically, pores are covered quite well.Acne and Skin problems?I do not know about you, but I have combination skin ( more on the drier side ). When matte foundation mixes with dry skin there is disaster.....which happened to me. The product emphasized dry skin and hardly covered my acne. More suited for oily skin with not much acne.Lasting power?Did not last very long, only an hour or two with out power. If I were to add power my face would be a cakey mess.Overall: 2/5
This product did deliver a matte finish and the coverage of my smooth acne was good. My pores were not very visible. I was disappointed in the cakey finish and lasting power. I will not repurchase.
