Review :: Laniege Water Bank Gel – Korean Under Eye Care

For many of my Skin Care concerns I have been depending on Korean Products lately and I must say I haven’t been disappointed much. To the contrary, I have been seeing some amazing results which didn’t happen with non-korean products. So today, I wanted to share with you all one of my favorite products from Korean Skincare Line, Laniege (Aritaum)

Here’s what it Claims :

An eye care product that retains moisture for the dry eye area for 24 hours for supple, revitalized eyes.Cool moisture and non-sticky formula of this gel-type eye cream moisturize the eye area and relieves puffiness.Contains Calendula extracts that have been used to heal skin infections and relieve irritation for supple relief of sensitive eye area.Contains ginkgo leaf extracts that promote blood circulation and prevent damage caused by free radicals in cells to reduce dark circles and to revitalize the eye area.

How to Use1. After applying essence and before applying cream, pump 1~2 times for prompt amount (0.8cm of diameter).2. Gently pat along with eye lines



My Opinion ::
Pros ::Its gel like formula is non-sticky and non-greasyMoisturizes the eye area without leaving traces of the productLeaves a cool and hydrated feeling behindPerfect for Super-Sensitive eyes too (unlike other eye creams, I never had any irritation or burning sensation with this one)Dark circles seem to have faded a bit (which didn’t happen even with the dermatologist suggested cream)Perfect even to use under eye makeup (though am more of a kohl and kajal pencil girl)
Cons ::Suitable for normal to oily skins (mine is dry around eyes and I tend to use this product atleast twice a day excluding the night care)I would have preferred a pump or tube than a tub like this. Though packaging is pretty, the jar is made of glass which is quite sturdy but neither light in weight nor convenient for travel.Available only on Korean Beauty Online Sites as usual
Other than packaging I really don’t have anything against this one. And though bit pricey I would still be happy to repurchase this one anyday. 25ml lasted me quite a long time (its been nearly 3 months now) and results are visible too.
