Since I recently used and reviewed Iraya Wild Flower body lotion, it was easy for me to take Kama Ayurveda lotion for a test drive. I could instantly compare Kama Ayurveda and Iraya. Before we continue, it's important to know that both brands follow the same philosophy while manufacturing thier products and assure to have used only organic ingredients. Let's continue...Packaging and Product Kama Ayurveda body lotion came in a clear plastic bottle with screw cap. The lotion is milky-white in color, not thick, spreads easily and does not require a heavy handed massage so product gets into the skin like Iraya body lotion (that I tried a few weeks back). I found this body lotion to be less hydrating, less thick and more expensive than Iraya Wild Flower Body Lotion.
Scent But I love its scent more than Iraya's. While Iraya Wild Flower lotion smells like jasmine flower (I don't like the fragrance of chameli/jasmine) when I put it on and starts smelling pleasant after 5-10 minutes, Kaya Ayurveda Lavender and patchouli smells great starting from the application to the sillage. (I think I would pick anything that has lavender and patchouli in it.)
Suitable Skin Types Suitable for only normal to oily skin types and dry skin people might not be too happy with it. So skip if you have dry skin.
Recommendations I found only price to be a downer otherwise, it is a body lotion that can seamlessly travel from season to season. Neither sticky nor drying! But wait? Don't we have another body lotion available at less price? Ok, then go for that!
Confession - This is my first Kama Ayurveda product and would love to try other products from this brand, for sure!
