I can't believe I haven't blogged about the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon before. Well I have mentioned it but I haven't dedicated a whole post to it, which is what it deserves. I got this mini size one with a gift with purchase at Libertys and I am so glad I did otherwise I don't think I would of tried it.
This is a extremely opaque lip lacquer that has a doe foot applicator to apply. You need the tiniest amount and you have to apply quickly as once it is dry it isn't going anywhere.
The shade Icon is a deep red color that is perfect for a more vampy look, it also makes your teeth look more white which is always a bonus.
From first application I fell in love, it applied so easily and even after going to a bbq and wearing it all evening, I did not have to top it up once. I was in happily surprised.
I wouldn't say this was drying but it isn't moisturising either, it does dry matte so if you don't like the feel of matte textures on your lips you will not like this. Saying that, it feels light once applied and half the time I forget I have it on.
Overall the Hourglass Rouge Liquid Lipstick is a must have for long lasting lip colours. I know I will be checking out the other shades.
