INR 450 for 9gmLakme 9 to 5 Flawless Creme Compact is a pressed version of mousse foundation. The texture is grainy like mousse and spreads like wise. I was tempted to give nine to five products a try after I posted about the launch of newer version of 9 to 5 collection. Since the "new" compacts were not available, I planned to use the old version and used tester because they are finished quickly and I know they haven't been sitting for long.
These compacts are pigmented and can cover the blemishes. But I'd never use them over a foundation. I'd use them without foundation with a good moisturizer or a tinted moisturizer. Using over a foundation would make skin cakey. It sits in the lines but do not make pores more prominent, however I did feel that it starts wearing-off in a 2-3 hours in hot and humid weather. It might run well during winters after a good, hydrating moisturizer.
It comes in a round, metallic nude packaging with inbuilt mirror and a sponge puff. The puff is of great quality but I personally avoid using puff on my face because of pores and creases of my nose. Use fingers to apply and brush to buff.
It will work well on oily skin and dry skin may find their skin a little blotchy after a few hours.
Three shades are available -
Marble (Yellow Undertone) - For light skin tones
Pearl (Pink Undertone) - For light to medium
Shell (Yellow Undertone) - For medium to dark

I personally didn't like the idea of compressed powder/foundation and I didn't like how it felt on my skin. Not so useful for me and my aging skin. Give it a try only if you are into heavy makeup. I am excited to try 9 to 5 Flawless Matte Complexion Compact and see if it is the same product in new packaging.
