Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Glosses are the glosses with creamy, hydrating formula and comes in 8 beautiful shades that suits Indian skin tone. When I first spotted them at the counter, I didn;t expect the price to be just 350 because I started comparing them with other drugstore brands that sells its glosses for 650 or above.
I swatched them and bought one of them thinking I should buy one for the review purpose. But I never expected them to be this good. So I planned to swatch and review all 8 shades. Currently including only 7 shades and 8th shade i.e. One Shine Day will be reviewed in another post. For now let's jump-
Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Glosses are one of the best glosses I have tried this year by far. They are hydrating and long lasting for a decent amount of time. While the glossiness fades after a couple of hours (after drinking and eating), the pigments stay right there on the lips and so does the moisturized lips. And, it doesn't look odd on lips. It looks like either I am wearing a lip-stain or a lip-balm that leaves a tint on lips. All 8 shades have sweet smell to them.
These glosses come in plastic packaging and a long wand with sponge applicator. I didn't find any problems while applying the gloss and the wand does a good job.
Let's know about the shades individually -
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Gleaming Grenadine - Gleaming Grenadine is a red lip gloss with warm undertones. It doesn't have shimmers but does have mirror like shine. I felt that it might bleed on some (oily skin tone) people or feather. It didn't do any of these on my lips but I felt it runnier than other glosses.
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Plum Luster Plum Luster is a plum shade lip gloss as the name suggests and has shimmers in it. It sticks to the lips perfectly and stays the most on the lips. This is my less favorite shade among all 8 shades.
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Mirrored Mauve Mirrored Mauve is a "mauve based" nude shade without shimmer and girls looking for nude shade in India should definitely give this shade a try. It looks beautiful on my dusky skin tone and I would recommend this gloss if someone asks me for a nude shade that would suit all skin tones.

Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Glisten Up Pink Glisten Up Pink is a grey based pink with loads of shimmer and the most "dry" looking gloss among all 8 shades. It is equally hydrating but felt a little dry on my lips, however, no dry affects afterwards. This is my second least favorite shades among all color sensational glosses.
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Captivating Coral Captivating Coral is an orange based coral which is nothing but beautiful, light, pigmented and gives a pretty after-effect of coral shade on lips. The other coral lip gloss that I reviewed is Revlon Colorburst Papaya - 20 which is also an orange based coral but I see little pink in it too. You decide!
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Raspberry Reflections Raspberry Reflections is a purple based pink gloss with no or little shimmer in it. I loved this shade on me and instantly picked for personal use. I use it the most as my lip-tint. It is not runny and very light on lips with other qualities of Color
Maybelline Color Sensational Glosses - Electric Shock Electric Shock is a powder pink lip gloss and is the brightest. Other shades are also on the brighter side but they are a bit subtle and this one just pops like its name. It also has no shimmer and feels light on the lips. I love this shade.
When I say I don't like any shade from this collection, it totally based on how they look on me. They do not feel or behave otherwise as mentioned in the claims. Their price and quality are the star points of these glosses and I see anybody picking from this range and giving satisfactory responses.
I do not expect any lip wear to give me more than 6 hours of wear and any thing that touches good 3-4 hours is one of the best products for me. Considering that, these glosses do a pretty good job by staying put for good 3 hours.
I am so happy these days because I have bought just one product that proved to be a "Product Disappointment" for me otherwise I have spent my money on products which I can conveniently say that they are "Shopping, Style and Us Approved".
