I love weddings with personality. Whoever you are, whatever you love and wherever your inspiration and style comes from, the most important thing is to create the wedding day that reflects you. Jenny and Tim’s wedding day does just that. It’s pure, perfect, classic glamour.
With wedding photography by Adam Johnson (www.arj-photo.co.uk) this is a beautiful day and one I’m delighted to be sharing on the blog today.
After getting ready nearby, Jenny and her girls came to Arley Hall wedding venue in Cheshire, and we join them here in the dressing room just before the wedding begins. Jenny’s Pandora bracelet was a wedding present from Tim. Isn’t it beautiful?
How will your wedding day sound? Jenny and Tim had a harpist at their ceremony: an unmistakeable, beautiful soundtrack and one which will resonate in memories for years to come.
Arley Hall is a place of grandeur; a magnificent setting with a traditional English elegance. While the chandelier is eye-catching, the gilding impressive, it’s the portraits on the walls that create the atmosphere for me.
Jenny and her dad make their way to the drawing room where the ceremony will take place. Here too, the generations of portraits watch this new piece of history unfold.
Jenny looks so incredibly beautiful – a truly glamorous, timelessly elegant bride. Her dad’s serious expression shows how proud he is of his daughter.
This reflected image is exquisite – a real speciality of ARJ Photography and a lovely touch.

The group shots are excellent: beautifully styled and shot in the barn at Arley Hall, and with the groomsmen in their morning suits and bridesmaids in those lovely black dresses, it creates an incredibly glamorous picture.
The luxury doesn’t stop at the venue, dress and bridal party: these little cupcakes look too good to eat.
Glamour, elegance and effortless style: these two photos of Jenny make the most of the luxury of Arley Hall. I love the detailing of the picture frame, and in the second image it’s fascinating to see a beautiful lady from another place and time.

The sunshine makes for a series of stunning images in the gardens of Arley Hall.
This is a favourite for me: the glamour doesn’t stop as the bride and groom stroll the landscaped gardens at Arley Hall – it’s an innate quality for Jenny and Tim, who look so much at home in this stately setting.
The first dance is a real celebration: time to let our hair down and enjoy the party! And the smiles on Tim and Jenny’s faces say it all.
Another favourite: this is romance you could touch, it’s so beautifully captured.
And while Jenny looks like Kylie in this photograph, is that … no, it can’t be…
The wedding band do look very much like Take That, don’t you think? Well – if you’re having a band at your wedding, you can’t really beat a Take That tribute act to get everyone on the dance floor!
