Rediscovered: MAC Paint Pots and MUFE Aqua Cream

L-R: MUFE 13, MAC Bare Study, MAC Rubenesque, MAC Indian Wood

Don't you love it when you rediscover a product that  you've been neglecting for awhile?!  For me it's been cream shadows and by that I mean my MAC Paint Pots and my Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream.  These are great to use as eye shadow bases- to make shadows last longer, prevent creasing, and really bring out the color of the shadows- or to use by themselves for a wash of color over the lid.

Rediscovered: MAC Paint Pots and MUFE Aqua Cream

Typo: RUBENESQUE

MUFE 13:  This color is kind of a mix of the three paint pots.  It's a champagne color like Bare Study, but a little darker like it's been mixed with a little bit of Indian Wood and it has a slight peach-y color to it like Rubenesque.  It's a great color to use on it's own or underneath any number of shadows.  This shadow also has a bit more of a metallic finish to it then the MAC Paint Pots.
MAC Bare Study:  This is probably my most used of the four because it's a great color to use over the lid for a little color that leaves my eyes looking brighter.  It's a pretty light sheer champagne color that I like to use usually on it's own or under neutral shadows.
MAC Rubenesque:  I think Rubenesque is one of the most unique colors I've seen, it's a gorgeous blend of peach and golden tones that can really change the whole look of a shadow.
MAC Indian Wood:  This is by far my favorite cream shadow that I have-however, because it's so dark it's one of my least used.  When I'm going out at night I love to use this as a base for a bronze-y smokey eye.  It still picks up the lighter colors and intensifies them while adding a deep smokey dimension to all the colors.  It's just such a gorgeous bronze shade that has a bit of a metallic finish to it (as all these shadows do).
What are you favorite rediscovered products??
