Red Carpet Looks for Proms and Graduation Balls

By Caidiva @caidiva

Now that it’s “Prom Season” and Graduation Season is nearing as well, highschool girls are most probably going gaga on picking the perfect dress to wear for these momentous events.

There are actually several things to consider when picking a dress, number one of course would be the BUDGET. Second, is the THEME OF THE EVENT if there is. Third, is the COLOR that would best suit or compliment your skin tone. Lastly, and the most important of all, is the STYLE that would be appropriate for both age and body type.

SINO ANG PEG MO?

Of course it’s automatic that we go to the ever so reliable Google for some “star fashion” inspiration. And so, google I did and these are my RED CARPET picks!

Always be classy, just like Taylor Swift who always looks great on the red carpet!

Another favorite is the ever so stylish, Elle Fanning.

Black is the key for classic looks.

A two-piece ensemble like this will surely make you stand out in a crowd as it isn’t too common.

This nude dress with appliques will make you look ethereal.

The choices are endless, nakakaloka! Now, if money is no object, I say go for any of my favorites: Valentino, Elie Saab, Neem Acra, Carolina Herrera and Marchesa. For the local designers, Vania Romoff, Veejay Floresca and Francis Libiran. If there are budget constraints however, you can opt to have your dress made by your suking dressmaker. Or, for a hassle-free shopping, you can check out this online store that makes dresses for any occasion. They even make copies of celebrities’ red carpet dresses such as these worn by Selena Gomez!

So, I hope this helps. Again, remember to keep it classy and see that the dress fits perfectly to avoid any wardrobe malfunction. You want to make this event memorably happy and not memorably embarassing!

Have fun! -xoxo
