I found some online artist materials that are providing me with plenty of subject and different poses. Here is a graphite study I was working on recently :
Reclining Nude - 50X60cm
I enjoy these studies... I start them, let them rest, come back on the drawing, try to be critical and correct it... If I am tired, I simply practice my hand, etching around a listening to music... As for this specific drawing, I enjoyed the pose - there is something shy, yet beautiful, in this reclining attitude.

A quick note on my session at Heatherley today - It is rare, but I went out of it with some satisfaction. For once, I could keep my drawing and painting 'alive' for the whole session. Next week, I will play a bit with the light and pursue the thinking around the colors... I struggled in some areas, the model was a bit moving, and my painting was thickening: I was having difficulties to a,end my drawing and to workout the likeness... But I had a great day :
To be continued next week...
