Real Techniques Limited Edition Duo Fibre Set.
I bought this Limited Edition Real Techniques kit a while back and have a bit of love hat relationship with it. I am a huge fan of the other RT brushes so was really excited to try this set. The set comes with three brushes, a Duo Fibre Face Brush, Duo Fibre Contour Brush and the Duo Fibre Eye brush .They are designed to work with cream, liquid and powder products and have synthetic bristles.
Starting with the negative I found the Eye Brush to be really scratchy. I have only used it once and have not looked at it again. I was really unimpressed, I am not sure if I just got a dodgy one?
The Face Brush is a lot better. I use it for bronzer mainly as it has the duo fiber bristles which makes it great for applying a lighter layer of color to the skin. (Perfect for us pale girls who are bit scared of bronzer) The brush is fairly soft but not as much as the other RT brushes.
Lastly the Contour Brush which I absolutely adore. This is the perfect brush for cream blush (what a tongue twister) it doesn't brush away your foundation when you apply it and just helps any product you use glide on effortlessly. It's perfect!
So do I think the set is worth it, yes and no, it has its pros and cons. I really do love the Contour brush and use it everyday so I think it is worth it for that, but the Eye Brush is a complete let down and kind of brings the quality of the kit down. I do really like the powder brush but its something I could live without. So I am on the fence with this one.
I would love to know if you have it and what your thoughts are?
You can pick the real techniques limited edition kit up from Boots for £23.99
