Re-creating "PureBeauty" Magazine Cover Look

By Beauty18claudia @Beauty18Claudia
As you must know by now I work in a pharmacy as a healthcare assistant. My manager/pharmacist saves me this PureBeauty and another beauty magazine every month because he knows how I love to read them. As soon as I saw June's front cover, I just had to re-create the look. I absolutely love it and it's perfect for summer. I love wearing bright bold eye shadow and have already worn this to work and got a few compliments from it. So here's my version... What I used... I used the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush to apply MAC Strobe cream. I then used the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush to apply MAC Face and body foundation. Next I used the Real Techniques buffing brush to apply MAC Studio Sculpt foundation.
I used the MAC selcet cover-up on any redness and under my eyes. I then used the Real Techniques detailer brush to apply MAC studio finish concealer on any blemishes. I filled my brows in with the Loreal eye liner pencil in brown and softened it using the MAC 204 lash brush. I then set them with Natural Collections clear mascara. Using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light plus, I applied it under my eyes with the MAC 116 blush brush and used the Real Techniques powder brush for the rest of my face.
I applied Fashionista blush in the color Butterscotch Shade 10 with a Real Techniques blusher brush. Using my NARS Danmari blush pallet, I used the lightest shade and a Real Techniques contour brush to apply the highlight to the tops of my cheek bones. MAC paint pot in painterly all over my lid and up to the brow bone as a base.
Collection 2000 Dazzle me  - Illusion 12 all over top lid and under my eye Barry M Dazzle dust in 77 over the top of Sleek Pumpkin eyeliner pencil. Bobbi Brown Long wear gel eyeliner  in Black Ink 1 on my top lash line, close to the lashes as possible. Urban Decay Bootycall from the Naked 2 palette as a highlight on the inner corners of my eyes and on my brow bone.
NYX 906 White eye liner pencil on bottom waterline. Sleek Eau la la liner in Pumpkin 296 under my bottom lash line - then put the Barry M dazzle dust over the top Lancome Black eyeliner on my tightline.
Top to bottom MAC 224 to blend out the edges and any harsh lines at the end. Elf blending eye brush to blend the pink on my lid. MAC 217 to blend the edges of the pink after I'd first applied it. MAC 213 to apply the pink on my lid. Models Own angled brush to apply the Barry M orange dust under my eye. Topshop angled brush to apply the pink dust under my eye. Urban Decay brush that comes in the NAKED 2 palette to apply Bootycall highlight to the inner corners. MAC 210 to apply Bobbi Brown gel liner. Real Techniques shading brush to apply highlight under my brows. MAC Eyelash curlers. Benefit They're Real! mascara to the tops of my lashes. Clarins Instant Definition Mascara to the bottom lashes. Perfect Girl Brit Rocks Wild individual lashes and glued them with DUO lash adhesive. I put about 3 on each side. I applied LOOK Beauty lipstick in the shade Rock Candy 3 directly to my lips. Then using the metal spatula and the W7 lip brush, I applied MAC Impassioned over the top. Then applied Lancome Juicy Tube 115 lipgloss on the top.
17 Pink Grapefruit nail polish. Originally, I wasn't going to do my nails, but at the last minute changed my mind, so I applied it over the top of the orange I already had on, that's why it looks more red in the pictures than pink. So there you have it, my first re-created look. What do you think? Do you like wearing bold colours, or do you prefer brown/neutrals? Thanks for reading!
